Situated in the seaside town of Tywyn in Southern Snowdonia, Sea Thrift Beach House offers guests spacious and contemporary ‘coastal living’ from an enviable beach front location, with panoramic sea views stretching across Cardigan Bay. Looking south towards Pembrokeshire and north towards Bardsey Island and Pwllheli on the Llyn Peninsula.

With flexible bedroom accommodation Sea Thrift Beach House is perfect for two couples or families of four. Your dogs are also more than welcome to join you on your Welsh adventure all we ask is that you don’t allow them on the furniture or in the bedrooms.

Sea Thrift Beach House has a generous west facing open plan living and dining area with picture window and patio doors leading onto a private sea facing terrace overlooking Cardigan Bay which enjoys all day sunshine. The comfy lounge area has a 43” LG Smart TV and the dining area has plenty of space for entertaining with an extendable oak dining table.

There are two spacious bedrooms including a luxurious king size master bedroom with a private glass balcony taking in the breath-taking sea views and is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise.

The second bedroom has stunning views across the Dysynni Valley towards the Cadair Idris mountain range. This room gives you the choice of a king size bed or twin beds making Sea Thrift Beach House the ideal setting for either two couples or a family of four.

The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, integrated fridge and freezer, microwave and everything you would expect to make your stay a comfortable one. From the kitchen you can access the driveway with private parking for one vehicle and there is ample on street parking for additional vehicles.

Whether you are looking for an outdoor adventure or a relaxing break away from it all Sea Thrift Beach House is perfectly located and you will find all the beauty of Mid Wales and Southern Snowdonia within an easy distance.

Tywyn sits on over four miles of sandy coastline and sand dunes directly on the Wales Coastal Path which runs right through the town and onto the Blue Flag beach. The beach is well known as a surfing hotspot and you can also enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking.

Four miles south of Tywyn is the pretty fishing village of Aberdyfi, sitting on the estuary of the river Dyfi where you can enjoy sailing, fishing trips and crab fishing from the old wooden jetty in the heart of the village. Or if golf is your thing you can enjoy the 18 Hole Championship Links Course at Aberdovey Golf Club. You can also explore other seaside resorts nearby including Aberystwyth and Barmouth.

If you favour the mountains, forests and waterfalls there are plenty of areas of incredible natural beauty close by. Cadair Idris the second highest mountain in Wales is just a 15 minute drive away and Nant Gwernol and Coed Y Brenin forests have a myriad of walking and cycling paths. Dolgoch and Rhaedr Ddu waterfalls are also within easy reach.

There is plenty if Welsh history and culture to experience with narrow gauge railways, castles, museums and art galleries just waiting to be explored.

Conveniently, Sea Thrift Beach House is just a five-minute walk away from the town centre where you will find all the amenities you will need including shops, a pharmacy, local pubs, restaurants and cafés, the Magic Lantern cinema and take-aways.

Don’t fancy taking the car? The local area is really well connected by both rail and bus. Take the Cambrian Coast Railway which runs all the way from nearby Machynlleth as far as Pwllheli on the Llyn Peninsula and south to Aberystwyth. Take in the stunning views all the way along the coast when travelling north or south. If heading inland to places like the market town of Dolgellau you can catch one of the many buses that run directly from Tywyn.
